Resolve, by Strategic Process Systems
Privacy Policy
Resolve is provided by Strategic Process Systems, LLC ("SPS," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use Resolve, by Strategic Process Systems, including during the Alpha testing program.
By using Resolve, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Your use of Resolve is also subject to the Resolve Terms and Conditions.
1. Information We Collect
Account and Profile Information
When you create or use a Resolve account, we may collect information such as your name, email address, account authentication information, company affiliation, and role or authorization within a company.
Passwords are handled through our authentication provider. SPS does not intend to store your password in readable form.
Company Information
Resolve may collect information you or other authorized users provide about your company, including company name, industry or business type, company profile information, users associated with the company, and subscription or plan information.
Diagnostic and Process Information
Resolve is designed to help organizations identify and improve business processes. Information entered into Resolve may therefore include business problems or process concerns, diagnostic questions and answers, process observations, findings and potential root causes, recommendations, improvement experiments, measurements and experiment results, and other information you choose to enter while using the diagnostic tools.
You should avoid entering sensitive personal information about employees, customers, patients, or other individuals unless it is necessary and appropriate for your use of Resolve.
Consultation Information
If you request assistance from SPS through Resolve, we may collect and process information associated with the consultation request.
Resolve may generate a report containing relevant company, diagnostic, finding, recommendation, and experiment information. You will be given an opportunity to preview the information intended for SPS and provide consent before the consultation report is submitted.
Alpha Feedback
During Alpha testing, Resolve allows testers to submit feedback. This may include bug reports, suggestions, areas of confusion, descriptions of what you were attempting to do, the area or page of Resolve associated with the feedback, and your account and company association.
This information is used to improve Resolve and support the Alpha testing program.
Technical and Security Information
We and our service providers may process technical information necessary to operate, secure, and troubleshoot Resolve, such as authentication and session information, timestamps, request information, error information, and other technical records generated through normal use of the service.
2. How We Use Information

We may also use aggregated or de-identified information to understand how Resolve is used and improve the product, provided the information does not reasonably identify you or your company.
3. How We Share Information
SPS does not sell your personal information.
Within Your Company
Information associated with a company may be accessible to other authorized users of that company according to their role and permissions within Resolve.
With SPS
Information may be accessible to authorized SPS personnel when necessary to administer Resolve, support users, review Alpha feedback, investigate technical or security issues, or provide services requested by the user.
Diagnostic and related company information intended for a consultation is provided to SPS through the consultation workflow after the user reviews the report and provides the required consent.
Service Providers
We use third-party service providers and technology infrastructure to operate Resolve. These providers may process information on our behalf for purposes such as application hosting, database services, authentication, email delivery, website hosting, security, reliability, and technical operations.
These providers may change as Resolve develops. We expect service providers to process information in accordance with their applicable agreements and privacy practices.
Legal and Safety Reasons
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, or governmental requirements, or to protect the rights, safety, security, or integrity of SPS, Resolve, our users, or others.
Business Transactions
If SPS is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, information associated with Resolve may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
4. Company Data and User Access
Information entered into Resolve on behalf of a company is generally associated with that company rather than solely with the individual user who entered it.
Removing a user from a company, suspending a membership, changing a subscription, or deleting an individual account does not necessarily delete the company's diagnostic history or other company records.
Access to company information is controlled through account roles, company membership, and product authorization mechanisms.
5. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate Resolve, provide requested services, maintain appropriate business and security records, comply with legal obligations, and support legitimate business purposes.
During Alpha, Resolve may retain diagnostic history, feedback, consultation records, account records, and other information so SPS can evaluate and improve the product.
Subscription downgrades or membership suspensions do not automatically delete company data.
Specific retention periods may be established or revised as Resolve moves beyond Alpha. Where appropriate and legally required, SPS will honor valid deletion requests subject to records we need or are permitted to retain.
6. Data Security
SPS uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information processed through Resolve.
These measures include access controls and authorization mechanisms designed to limit access to company and administrative information.
However, no internet-based service, electronic storage system, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for promptly notifying SPS of suspected unauthorized account access.
7. Your Choices and Responsibilities
Depending on your relationship with SPS and applicable law, you may request assistance regarding personal information associated with your Resolve account, including requests to access, correct, or delete certain information.
Because Resolve stores company-associated information, an individual user's request may not result in deletion of records that belong to or must remain available to the company.
You are responsible for ensuring that information you submit to Resolve is appropriate for your organization to provide and that you have any permissions or authority required to provide it.
8. Sensitive and Regulated Information
Resolve is intended for business process improvement. Unless SPS has expressly agreed otherwise in writing, Resolve is not intended to serve as a repository for highly sensitive or specially regulated personal information.
Do not enter Social Security numbers, financial account credentials, payment card information, medical records, protected health information, or other highly sensitive personal information into diagnostic responses, feedback, experiments, or other free-text areas unless SPS has expressly authorized that use and appropriate safeguards are in place.
9. Children's Privacy
Resolve is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 13. SPS does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through Resolve.
If you believe a child has provided personal information through Resolve, please contact us.
10. Third-Party Services and Links
Resolve or the SPS website may contain links to third-party websites or services. SPS is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties that operate independently from SPS.
Third-party service providers used to operate Resolve may maintain their own privacy policies and terms governing their services.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
SPS may update this Privacy Policy as Resolve develops, our practices change, or legal requirements evolve.
When we make changes, we may update the effective date and version shown at the top of this policy. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.
12. Alpha Testing
Resolve is currently being evaluated through a limited Alpha program. Features, data practices, service providers, and operational processes may evolve during testing.
SPS will use Alpha information to operate, evaluate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Resolve. Alpha testers should avoid entering unnecessary sensitive or regulated information into the service.
